Young Creative Entrepreneur awards

The Young Creative Entrepreneur awards, an initiative of The British Council’s creative economy unit, recognises entrepreneurs from creative sectors and helps them begin a dialogue with their UK counterparts. It is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to reach out to global networks and get an overview of the UK creative economy.

The entries for this year’s awards are now open. Sectors include Fashion, Design, Communications, Publishing, Performing Arts, Screen and Interactive. The Awards are open to any entrepreneur running their enterprise in these sectors for the past 2-3 years and between 25 to 35 years of age. The winners for different sectors will be announced in a ceremony in early September and the winners will be sent to UK for a study tour of their respective industries and a chance to attend a relevant trade event.
